Do this at the end of a class, a parent meeting, or a team dinner. The room leaves with pages made and the first shares sent.

Tell families what this is: a free fundraiser with nothing to sell. Half of every dollar comes straight back to the studio. The other half supports meaningful lives for adults on the autism spectrum, and 5% of Luv Michael's share goes to the National Dance Foundation for teacher scholarships and special needs participant performance scholarships. Luv Michael trains and employs adults with autism, so every gift creates real work.
Put the QR code on the screen 5 min
Every participant (or parent) scans it and makes a page right there: name, photo, done. Two minutes each, all at once. Your kit comes with the QR code the moment you start.
Make the first share together 3 min
Before anyone leaves, each participant texts their page to three people. The first gift usually lands before the room empties, and the leaderboard comes alive.
Explain what participants earn 2 min
Raise anything: a 10-hour community service certificate. Raise $500: a graduation cord and a letter of recommendation. Raise $1,000: the Luv Michael Hall of Fame. The top fundraising studio and the top fundraising participant are featured on the Julie Kay podcast.
Set the finish line 1 min
Say the end date out loud, name the team goal, and show the live leaderboard. Then let them go share.

Questions families ask
Where does the money go?
Half of every dollar comes straight back to the studio. The other half supports meaningful lives for adults on the autism spectrum, and 5% of Luv Michael's share goes to the National Dance Foundation for teacher scholarships and special needs participant performance scholarships.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Luv Michael is a 501(c)(3). Every donor gets an emailed receipt with documentation for the tax-deductible portion of their gift.
What is the bracelet?
Gifts of $40 or more are thanked with a pair of handmade bracelets, made by autistic adults at Luv Michael, shipped to the address the donor enters at checkout.
Does it cost the studio anything?
No. There is nothing to buy, sell, or collect. The studio receives its share by check after the campaign closes.
How does a participant share their page?
Every participant page has share buttons for text, email, and social. The most effective move is a personal text to family and friends with one line about why it matters to them.
Who can see my participant's name?
The team leaderboard shows first name and last initial with the amount raised. Participants who have not raised anything yet are not shown on the public board.
